After the Lunar New Year, Honda and its dealers began to stimulate demand for remaining 2024 production models. The form of promotion is direct cash discount, 50% support for registration fees or all.

On Honda's best-selling car line in 2024, City (VND 499-569 million), the company supports 50% of the registration fee, equivalent to a reduction of about VND 25-28 million. Honda fixes the incentive based on the 10% registration fee, regardless of the locality where the license plate is registered.

Also with the above incentives are the Honda HR-V and BR-V. The B-size CUV model, HR-V (699-871 million VND) is discounted by about 35-43 million VND. The small MPV model BR-V (661-705 million VND) is discounted by 33-35 million VND.

Honda's best-selling high-chassis car, the CR-V, is being offered a 100% discount on registration fees for the G version (VND1.029 billion) and a 50% discount on the L version (VND1.099 billion). The discounts are equivalent to about VND100 million and VND50 million, respectively.

For the D-size sedan, Accord (1.319 billion VND), the direct cash discount is 250 million VND, bringing the car price down to 1.069 billion VND.

Honda has implemented sales policies for these models many times in 2024. When the market just passed the Tet holiday, purchasing power was weak, the Japanese car company continued to implement to stimulate demand.

Similar to Honda, companies like Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru... are also reducing prices by tens to hundreds of millions of dong on their car models to heat up the market.
