Many universities in the North have begun accepting applications based on high school transcripts. Meanwhile, some universities in the South have announced the results of admissions using this method.
As of April 16, in the North, some schools have received applications for admission based on transcripts such as the Academy of Journalism and Communication, Vietnam Agricultural Academy, University of Electricity, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Transport Technology, etc.
Meanwhile, in the South, some schools have announced admission scores based on high school transcripts, such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, etc.
2024 is also the first year that military schools will recruit students based on academic records, except for the Military Technical Academy and the Military Medical Academy with about 10% of the target. The required condition is that candidates have a total score of 7 or higher in each year of high school, and the subjects in the admission group must have a minimum score of 7.5.
