According to the admission regulations, candidates will only be officially admitted when they graduate from high school in 2024 and register their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Note that candidates will only be admitted to their highest wish.

Van Lang Universityalso announced early admission results for 60 regular university training programs, based on the first round of high school transcripts in 2024. Admission scores are based on the total score of 3 subjects in the 12th grade admission combination, or the average score of 3 admission subjects in grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12.

The health majors with the highest qualifying scores include: dentistry, medicine, and pharmacy with a qualifying score of 24 points. Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology require 19.5 points. For the health majors, candidates must meet the threshold to ensure input quality according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Multimedia and public relations industry has a benchmark score of 20 points, 2 points higher than the floor score.

11 majors include aptitude subjects with a benchmark score of 24 points, in which aptitude subjects are multiplied by a coefficient of 2. The remaining majors/programs have a benchmark score of 18 points. Thus, the average benchmark score for admission ranges from 6-8 points/subject.

Hong Bang International UniversityThis year's admission score based on transcripts is from 18 points or higher. Specifically, in 41 regular university training programs, the highest admission score for the health sector ranges from 19.5 to 24 points. Up to now, about 190 universities have announced to consider high school transcripts for admission. With this method, most schools usually consider 2-6 semesters of high school transcripts (average score of the whole semester or average score of subjects in the admission group).
