On the morning of February 17 (January 8), Mo Trach village, Tan Hong commune (Binh Giang, Hai Duong) and the Vu-Vo clan council of Vietnam held a traditional festival to celebrate the 1220th birthday of the village's patron saint, Mo Trach village (804-2024).
The festival attracted thousands of attendees including locals, tourists from all over the country and descendants of the Vu-Vo family from all over the country. On this occasion, the Vu-Vo Family Council of Vietnam awarded the Vu clan elite certificate (the most prestigious award of the family) to 8 individuals who have contributed to the glory of the family; commended 1 group and 10 individuals who have made many contributions to the family. The Vu-Vo Family Council of Vietnam honored and rewarded nearly 380 outstanding students with excellent academic achievements in the 2022-2023 school year.
Mo Trach is an ancient village, a "unique" village of scholars with 36 Confucian doctors, the most in the country, known as "the doctoral furnace of the East".
