Hai Duong workers going to Korea to work for the first time under the EPS program need to know

Step 1: Learn Korean

Workers must learn Korean by themselves to be able to take the EPS Korean exam.

Step 2: Take the Korean language test

Workers directly register for the Korean language test at the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong and take the test at the location announced by the Overseas Labor Center.

Step 3: Submit application

Workers who pass the Korean language test will be notified to apply through the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Step 4: Korean enterprise selects and signs labor contract

Workers selected by Korean enterprises to sign labor contracts will be notified by the Overseas Labor Center via official dispatch or the list of workers selected by Korean enterprises will be posted on the Overseas Labor Center's website.

Step 5: Pay money, sign contract to send workers to work in Korea with Overseas Labor Center

Step 6: Deposit at the Social Policy Bank

Workers deposit at the transaction office or branch of the Social Policy Bank where they legally reside in the amount of 100 million VND. Only workers who have made a deposit are allowed to leave for Korea to work.

Step 7: Attend the necessary knowledge training course and go to Korea to work

Workers attend the necessary knowledge training course organized by the Overseas Labor Center. Only workers who pass the final test of the necessary knowledge training course and are granted a certificate are allowed to go to Korea to work.

Step 8: Implement the labor contract in Korea and return home on time when the labor contract expires.

Workers work in Korea for the duration of the labor contract signed with the Korean enterprise. Before the contract expires, workers must notify the Vietnam Labor Management Office under the EPS Program in Korea of ​​their plan to return home so that the Overseas Labor Center has a basis to liquidate the contract and complete the procedures to close the deposit account for the worker.

Step 9: Liquidate the contract to send workers to work in Korea, close the deposit account.

- If the worker returns home on time, the contract to send the worker to work in Korea under the EPS Program that the worker signed with the Overseas Labor Center will be automatically terminated.

- If the worker absconds and does not return to the country after the expiration of the labor contract, the worker's deposit (including principal and interest) will be transferred to the Employment Fund of the province or centrally-run city where the worker legally resided before going to work in Korea.
