Rural workers in craft villages are earning from 4 to 8 million VND/person/month.
Craft villages are creating many jobs for people beyond working age.
According to the Department of Rural Development, the province currently has more than 3,500 production establishments in craft villages and creates direct jobs for more than 12,600 rural workers. Production and business activities of craft villages have attracted and created jobs for more than 20,000 rural workers with incomes ranging from 4 to 8 million VND/person/month.
The province currently has 66 craft villages, including 34 traditional craft villages. Craft villages not only create jobs and contribute to improving the lives of people in rural areas, but also contribute to preserving and promoting unique cultural values in each locality.
