According to the People's Committee of Tu Minh Ward (Hai Duong City), as of September 25, out of 15 noodle-producing households in Lo Cuong rice paper village whose production activities had been suspended, 13 households committed to switching to electric production.
One household in Xuan Duong residential area has been dismantled and relocated, and one household has requested to be relocated to an industrial park. All households have proposed that when converting to electricity production, relevant levels and sectors should consider providing support mechanisms for administrative procedures, funding for transformer station installation, and other support for craft villages in accordance with the law.
The production households pledged to correct the violations and convert production technology, and requested the People's Committee of Hai Duong City to consider implementing the conversion schedule until December 31, 2024. If the above time limit is not met, the households will stop operating.
Tu Minh Ward People's Committee has also assigned the ward police, land - construction - environment officials, the head of the code inspection team, the heads of the residential areas of Lo Cuong A, B, Dong Tranh, Xuan Duong, and the grassroots security force to closely monitor the compliance of the establishments. If any establishment is found to have not corrected the violations but still deliberately operates, a record will be made for handling according to regulations.
Previously, after inspecting 15 noodle production facilities in Lo Cuong rice paper village in August, Hai Duong City discovered that these facilities did not meet the operating conditions according to environmental protection regulations. Hai Duong City People's Committee requested these households to temporarily suspend operations to fix the problem, and by September 25, they must register with Tu Minh Ward People's Committee about their operating plan in the coming time.
