For the first time, pickleball was included in the Exchange Day of 4 twinned districts with Thanh Mien.

At the Cultural and Sports Exchange Festival of the four twinned districts of Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien, Quynh Phu and Vinh Bao, pickleball was included in the competition for the first time.

Leaders of Thanh Mien District People's Committee presented souvenir flags to the units.

On the afternoon of December 6, the Traditional Cultural and Sports Exchange Festival of 4 twinned districts including Ninh Giang, Thanh Mien (Hai Duong), Quynh Phu (Thai Binh), Vinh Bao (Hai Phong) was held in Thanh Mien district.

Pickleball was included for the first time in the competition at the Traditional Cultural and Sports Exchange Festival of 4 districts.

The festival attracted 200 athletes and 150 actors and musicians from 4 districts.

Athletes compete in 4 sports including men's soccer (7 players), men's volleyball, badminton and pickleball, an increase of 2 sports compared to the 2024 tournament. This is also the first year pickleball is included in the competition. In each sport, teams are paired up to compete in a knockout match.

As a result, Thanh Mien district won first place in volleyball, men's soccer and pickleball. Quynh Phu district won first place in badminton.

In the evening of the same day, there was a cultural exchange program with the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the solidarity between the four twinned districts.

The festival is held on a rotating basis, once a year.

The cultural and sports exchange festival aims to enhance the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in many fields between districts, contributing to the development of cultural and sports movements, meeting political tasks and socio-economic development. This activity was first held in 1980 and is maintained on a rotational basis, once a year.
