Prosecution of the case of intentionally causing injury and disturbing public order at Kinh Mon market

On July 6, in front of the Nam Ha grocery kiosk, Ms. LTA and VTH, residing in Ngoc Son ward (Hai Duong city), who are employees of Mr. Pham Hung Van (the legal representative of Kinh Mon market), pulled out a portable loudspeaker to notify the traders that on July 7, the market would temporarily stop operating to ensure fire prevention and fighting. A person named S., a security guard hired by Mr. Truong Van Lap (a co-investor in the Kinh Mon market project), came to grab the loudspeaker and a fight broke out, with the participation of many other people. Ms. LTA suffered a bruise on her left eye. A man named T. suffered bleeding and a torn scalp. The cause of the above incidents was determined to be internal conflicts between members contributing capital to invest and exploit Kinh Mon market.

Recently, there have been a number of incidents causing disorder at Hiep An market. Some Facebook accounts have taken advantage of the situation to frequently post and share on groups such as Kinh Mon Online Market, Hai Duong News, Hai Duong Beat, etc., causing public confusion.

From September 26-27, Kinh Mon Town Police administratively sanctioned C.D.H., permanent resident of An Hong Commune, An Duong District (Hai Phong) and PTT, permanent resident of Hiep An Ward, Kinh Mon Town for causing disorder.

Kinh Mon town police said they will continue to monitor the situation and strictly handle individuals and organizations that violate the law.
