On June 24, information from the Ministry of Public Security said that the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency had executed an arrest warrant for temporary detention and a search warrant for the residence and workplace of Nguyen Ngoc Phuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Cuong Gold Joint Stock Company, for the crime of "Illegal transportation of currency across the border."

On June 23, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency executed an arrest warrant for temporary detention and a search warrant for the residence and workplace of suspect Nguyen Ngoc Phuong (born in 1979 in Quang Ninh; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Cuong Gold Joint Stock Company) for the crime of "Illegal transportation of currency across the border" as prescribed in Article 189 of the Penal Code.

The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and clarify the case and the law violations of the defendant Nguyen Ngoc Phuong and related people.
