Opening of Hanoi Eco-Tourism Festival 2023 - Ba Vi Green Experience

On December 9, the Hanoi Eco-Tourism Festival 2023 - Green Experience Ba Vi, organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Ba Vi district, officially opened.

The program introduces visitors to the journey of experiencing and discovering Hanoi's outstanding eco-tourism products through an art program introducing unique and diverse traditional cultures on images of local destinations, highlighting Hanoi's rich eco-tourism potential.

At the same time, the program introduces 8 eco-tourism areas and spots recognized by the Hanoi People's Committee.

They are: Hong Van Ornamental Plants Craft Village Tourist Site, Thuong Tin District; Ao Vua Tourist Site, Ba Vi District; Tan Da Mineral Spring Tourist Site, Ba Vi District; Thien Son Suoi Nga Tourist Site, Ba Vi District; Khoang Xanh-Suoi Tien Tourist Site, Ba Vi District; Dan Phuong Ecological Tourist Site, Dan Phuong District; Hoang Long Ecological Tourist Site, Thach That District and Long Ho Village Tourist Site, Son Tay Town.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that through the festival, the Department hopes to promote the advantages of eco-tourism in Ba Vi in particular and the entire capital in general to develop this product in a diverse, attractive way, suitable to the needs of tourists. Thereby, attracting, extending the length of stay and increasing the spending of tourists at eco-tourism areas and spots, contributing to sustainable development, environmental protection, conservation and promotion of cultural values ​​and natural landscapes of the city.

Hanoi strives to welcome about 25.5 million visitors in 2023, an increase of 13.3% compared to the estimate for 2023 (4.5 million international visitors and 21 million domestic visitors).

Within the framework of the Festival, there is also a program to survey eco-tourism in Ba Vi district.

Delegates will participate in the survey of Amour Resort Ba Vi (Cote 400) and Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat (Cote 600) in Ba Vi National Park. Thereby, both introducing and promoting the image of Ba Vi eco-tourism destination, connecting tours, exchanging experiences in promoting and advertising Ba Vi eco-tourism products.

On December 9-10, at Ao Vua Eco-tourism Area, visitors can check-in at the "Eco-destination" with impressive images.

The area of ​​booths promoting eco-tourism and destinations of the Doai region includes 55 booths introducing eco-tourism tour products in the city of travel agencies, tourist areas and destinations; introducing craft village products, tourism gift products; displaying destinations of the Doai region with unique local products; an area to experience traditional cuisine of the Doai region and introducing "Hanoi Beer Culture".

The space area coordinates the performance of cultural and ethnic activities including: Muong folk songs, Muong gong performances, Muong flute performances, Muong gong dances...; campfires and organizing many folk games imbued with national cultural colors.

Hanoi Ecotourism Festival 2023 - Green Experience Ba Vi is part of a series of activities on Hanoi ecotourism products 2023 to promote and develop the capital's ecotourism products; exploit new, diverse and attractive ecotourism destinations.

At the same time, mobilize relevant parties, attract investment resources to develop Hanoi eco-tourism, contribute to preserving and promoting cultural, historical values, and natural landscapes.
