Opening of Training and Knowledge Update Course for Deputy Secretaries, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees and People's Councils

The class consisted of 44 students, lasting 7 days, at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

At the opening ceremony, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Training Course emphasized: Deputy Secretaries of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, Chairmen of People's Councils, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities are those who play a key role in leading and directing the implementation of the Party and State's policies in localities. Therefore, in order to train and update knowledge for these key officials, best meet the requirements that the new reality is changing very quickly, promote the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat assigned the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to preside over the program development, coordinate with the Central Organizing Committee to organize the Training Course.

According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, the Training Program includes 13 topics selected by the Secretariat, covering many important issues of the country in the current period. The topics are presented by a team of reporters with rich knowledge, theoretical understanding and rich practical experience.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang believes that the trainees will gain many useful and practical lessons for applying direction and organization to implement important tasks and fields of work in the locality; he hopes that the Training Course will truly become a forum for trainees to exchange and discuss in order to gain a clearer and deeper understanding of the theoretical and practical issues currently arising in leadership, direction, and management in the localities.

Informing that this is the second Training and Knowledge Update Course (the first course takes place from July 26 to August 1, 2023) for Deputy Secretaries of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, Chairmen of People's Councils, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the Academy's staff, lecturers and students to promote a sense of responsibility, proactively implement the teaching and learning program, ensuring that the Training Course is organized in accordance with the requirements and objectives set out.

Representing the students of the Knowledge Updating and Training Class, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, ChairmanPeople's CommitteeNghe An province Nguyen Duc Trung, Class President, thanked the Party and State leaders for their attention and creating conditions for key officials of the province and centrally-run cities to update theoretical and practical knowledge to serve the organization and successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed to promote the highest awareness and sense of responsibility in studying; proactively and creatively participate in completing the objectives of the Training Class; strictly follow the class rules, regulations and requirements of the Training Class Organizing Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
