The iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to feature a 6.9-inch display, making the entire body significantly larger.
While the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to still use a 6.7-inch screen, technology site 9to5Mac said the iPhone 16 Pro Max will increase to 6.9 inches. The large screen will make the device 165 mm long and 77.2 mm wide, compared to the current iPhone 14 Pro Max which is 159.8 and 76.7 mm.

Additionally, the product name may change. Instead of the 16 Pro Max, the device may be named the 16 Ultra to align with other Apple products like the Watch Ultra launched last year.
Analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Ross Young - who often give accurate information about Apple products - also said that the 2024 iPhone screen will increase to make more space for the periscope zoom lens.
However, the news that Apple is increasing the screen size is facing mixed reactions. Many users on Twitter commented that the extra 0.2 inches does not significantly improve the experience, while making the device larger, making it inconvenient to use with one hand. Others said that as long as Apple takes advantage of the space and integrates more technology, they are still willing to accept a larger device in their pocket.
Previously, according to The Elec's source, the iPhone 16 Pro could integrate a FaceID facial recognition sensor hidden under the screen, completely eliminating the current punch-hole design. Meanwhile, the haptic feedback button may only appear from the iPhone 2025 because Apple has not yet solved the technical problems related to haptic technology before mass production.
