Au Viet Farm Cooperative (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong) has taken advantage of the great potential of social networks to promote online sales and product consumption.
Along with retailing at the garden and supplying goods to wholesale markets in Hai Duong City, Au Viet Farm Cooperative has now expanded its online sales channel via Facebook and Zalo. Currently, the cooperative sells about 300 kg of tomatoes per day via social networks.
The cooperative is providing the market with many agricultural products at lower prices than the market, such as bell peppers for 27,000 VND per kilogram, tomatoes for 5,000 VND, and cucumbers for 12,000 VND. Compared to the recent Tet At Ty, the prices of these items have decreased by nearly half.
With a scale of 14,000 m² of greenhouse, Au Viet Farm Cooperative currently has about 10 tons of tomatoes and 3 tons of bell peppers and cucumbers that have not been harvested.
