The Women's Union of Ke Sat town, Binh Giang district (Hai Duong) has just organized a charity trip "Warm winter in the highlands" to Nam Ke Primary Boarding School No. 2, Nam Ke commune, Muong Nhe district (Dien Bien).
Here, the delegation presented the school with 642 uniforms, 15 sets of Team ceremonial clothes, 70 cotton blankets, 200 towels, 200 toothbrushes, 250 plastic pots, 100 sedge mats, 100 mosquito nets... In particular, the delegation presented 18 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, each worth 300,000 VND.
The total amount of money and gifts in this charity trip is worth nearly 140 million VND, voluntarily supported by officials, members of the Ke Sat Women's Association and other benefactors.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the Women's Union of Ke Sat town has successfully organized the charity program "Warm winter in the highlands", giving gifts to children in the mountainous areas, helping them have more conditions to excel in their studies and life.
