Kim Thanh students experience Stem Festival

On the afternoon of March 16, the Department of Education and Training of Kim Thanh district opened the Stem Experience Day for primary and secondary schools for the 2023-2024 school year.

This is also the first time the Kim Thanh District Department of Education and Training has organized a large-scale Stem Experience Day.

The festival attracted 36 booths with 161 products and hundreds of products displayed by 18 primary schools and 18 secondary schools in Kim Thanh district. The products are diverse, from many different fields, and highly applicable. These products are the efforts of teachers when creating new methods and lessons to arouse the spirit of interest, applying knowledge of each subject to create products in each student.

At the Experience Day, more than 400 students were immersed in the exciting atmosphere of the art program; confident presentations and thrilling moments when the Jury evaluated, scored the contest products and displayed each booth.

Stem is an educational method that helps students master theoretical knowledge and practical skills in four fields: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The Stem Experience Day is an interesting scientific playground, stimulating potential and promoting creative thinking of students, helping them to improve their knowledge, practice creative skills, and nurture their passion for science. The festival is also an activity for groups and individuals to express their ideas, talents, and creativity in teaching, contributing to innovation and improving the quality of education and training in the spirit of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.
