In front of the entrance of Hang Toi Cave is the Chay River - a tributary of the Son River - with a depth of 8m, a characteristic green color and cool. Here, visitors can experience kayaking, Sup boating to both exercise and admire the charming natural scenery.
Dark Cave has a total length of 7.5km, the wooden floor inside the cave is 250m long. This is both a dry cave and a water cave. According to scientists, Dark Cave was formed tens of millions of years ago, the water flowing through the Ke Bang limestone mountain range over a long period of time hollowed out, eroded the mountain and created Dark Cave.
What attracts explorers and tourists to Dark Cave is that the inside of the cave is still very pristine, with stalactites of many diverse and vivid shapes. The cave is also a hiding place for many animals such as swallows, bats, Ha Tinh langurs... The temperature in the cave is cool with the temperature always fluctuating between 15-20 degrees Celsius.
In addition to the time spent walking around the cave, visitors will be immersed in a young mud pool located deep inside the Dark Cave, 500m from the cave, a unique feature that no other cave has. The Dark Cave, when entering deep, has very narrow spots, divided into many branches, when the water flows through, it creates a sedimentation of young mud, creating a typical mud bath location.
Many foreign tourists are interested in bathing in natural mineral mud deep inside the cave. In addition to the interesting experience, mud bathing also brings many health benefits, because it is rich in salt and minerals, helping to treat bone and joint diseases and beautify the skin. Micro-minerals help relax muscle tension, increase the regeneration of bone, muscle and nerve cells.
Ms. Pham Trang, from Nam Dinh province, shared that this was not her first time taking a mud bath. The experience here was truly different, bringing a feeling of comfort and purity never before felt.
In addition, visitors can participate in the zipline game. This is the longest zipline on the river in Vietnam. When experiencing, players - equipped with protective uniforms to ensure safety - will swing across the Chay River, with the scenery viewed from above.
