Hai Duong strengthens forest fire prevention at festivals

In order to promptly detect and prevent acts of encroachment on forests, especially forest fire prevention and fighting during the 2024 Con Son-Kiep Bac Spring Festival and the 2024 Giap Thin Spring Festival, Kinh Mon town, Chi Linh Forest Protection Department and Kinh Mon Forest Protection Department will focus on organizing guards and patrols in key fire areas and relic sites where many festival activities are concentrated. Prepare vehicles, tools, machinery and equipment to respond promptly when forest fires occur.

Propose that the Organizing Committee of the Con Son-Kiep Bac Spring Festival and the Organizing Committee of the Giap Thin Spring Festival 2024 in Kinh Mon town direct the Management Board of relics to regularly propagate, guide and remind visitors when participating in the festival to properly comply with regulations on forest protection, forest fire prevention, especially regulations on the use of fire and burning of votive paper during the festival.

Local forest rangers advise and coordinate with the Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Steering Committees of communes and wards to increase patrol and guard forces in key forest fire areas.
