Hai Duong temporarily holds 15 driving licenses on VNeID after 1 week of implementing Circular 28

Implementing Circular 28/2024 TT-BCA on checking relevant documents of traffic participants and handling temporary detention of driving licenses in the electronic environment, the traffic police force in the whole province has checked and controlled the information of documents on VNeID for 34 cases. The whole province has 15 cases (including 8 car drivers and 7 motorbike drivers) whose driving licenses were recorded and temporarily detained on VNeID. Some localities have handled violations on VNeID such as Chi Linh city, Thanh Ha district, Ninh Giang... Most of the violations were driving vehicles exceeding the permitted speed.

On average, the rate of handling and making records in the electronic environment via the VNeID application out of the total number of traffic safety violations handled per day is from 8-10%.

Currently, the whole province has not had any cases of driver's license revocation on VNeID.

Representatives of the Traffic Police - Order Team of some localities said that currently, besides the cases that have integrated document information into the VNeID application according to regulations, there are still many people who have not done so. For violators who have integrated document information into the VNeID application, the traffic police will make a record and temporarily detain the documents in the electronic environment. For violators who have not integrated document information into the VNeID application, the traffic police will make a record and temporarily detain the paper documents. People should proactively integrate document information into the VNeID application to facilitate presentation when the authorities check and resolve administrative procedures.
