Hai Duong prevents occupational accidents in craft villages

On November 29, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs provided instructions on measures to prevent occupational accidents in craft villages to nearly 100 officials in charge of labor, war invalids and social affairs of districts, towns and cities, representatives of residential areas, a number of businesses, and owners of production facilities at high risk of occupational accidents in craft villages in the province...

Through specific examples and evidence of occupational accidents that have occurred in craft villages in Hai Duong, students see the risks of occupational accidents, especially in carpentry, mechanics, etc. Officers in charge of the field of labor, war invalids and social affairs clearly understand the responsibilities of state agencies when occupational accidents occur. Students also learn about measures to prevent occupational accidents in craft villages, the significance of providing labor protection equipment for workers, especially in high-risk sectors, etc.

This is one of the contents that the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has promoted to reduce the risk of occupational accidents in more than 60 craft villages in the province and implement the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Program for the period 2021-2025 in the province. The program aims to have 80% of workers in craft villages in the province trained in occupational safety and hygiene by 2025.
