The weather forecast for the afternoon of February 1st from the provincial Hydrometeorological Station said that a cold air mass is moving south from the North. It is forecasted that around the evening and night of February 2nd, the cold air mass will affect the Hai Duong area.
Due to the influence of cold air combined with wind convergence above 1500m, the weather in Hai Duong area is cloudy, with scattered rain and showers. From the night of February 2, the weather will turn cold, with the lowest temperature commonly ranging from 13 - 15 degrees Celsius, with strong northeast winds at level 3.
From February 3, Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town and Nam Sach and Kim Thanh districts will experience severe cold.
