Hai Duong inspects the state management responsibility for food safety of authorities at all levels

The Hai Duong Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee has deployed a post-inspection plan on food safety in 2024, which will examine the state management responsibilities in this field for authorities at all levels.

During the Food Safety Action Month this year, the Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee will establish a team to inspect the organization and implementation of food safety work of the Steering Committees at the district and commune levels; and conduct on-site inspections at food production and trading establishments.

The Steering Committee assigned the Department of Health to conduct post-inspections at food establishments under its management in the area. Focus on controlling food safety and preventing food poisoning in collective kitchens in industrial zones, schools, festivals and major events. Post-inspection of self-declaration of products and compliance with food safety regulations for establishments producing, trading, importing and advertising health protection foods and nutritional foods.

The Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development and Industry and Trade closely follow Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP to implement post-inspection on self-declaration of products, production, business, import, advertising, traceability of food origin and sampling and testing of products/product groups under the management of the industry.

The District Food Safety Steering Committee conducts post-inspections at food production and trading establishments, catering services, and street food in the area according to management levels.
