On the morning of August 30, the Provincial Initiative Recognition Council established by the Department of Science and Technology held a ceremony to recognize initiatives in 2023.
This year, the Council received and considered requests for recognition of 495 initiatives, including 116 initiatives proposed by the Department of Education and Training and 379 initiatives proposed by the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. Of which, 152 initiatives were proposed in the natural field; 131 in the humanities; 210 in the social field and 2 initiatives in other fields. As a result, 157 initiatives were recognized as provincial initiatives in 2023, reaching nearly 32% of the total number of proposed initiatives. Compared to 2022, there was an increase of 15 recognized initiatives.
According to the Council's assessment, the initiatives ensure requirements and content that clearly demonstrate novelty, creativity, applicability, replication and practical benefits. In the field of management, there have been initiatives that propose specific and clear measures that are suitable for innovation requirements, address necessary issues of social concern and are topical.
Some typical initiatives that are highly appreciated include: "Designing an online system to manage the number of school periods to meet the requirements of the 2018 general education program, contributing to improving the effectiveness of professional management" by teacher Do Van Thien, Vice Principal of Doan Thuong High School (Gia Loc); "Managing experiential activities and career guidance to meet the 2018 general education program at secondary schools" by teacher Dinh Quang Duc, Vice Principal of Tan An Secondary School (Thanh Ha)...
