From 3:00 p.m. on May 30, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND518/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND694/liter; diesel oil decreased by VND90/liter. However, the price of kerosene increased by VND29/liter and fuel oil increased by VND25/kg.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the prices of both gasoline and diesel will decrease from 3:00 p.m. today, May 30.
Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND518/liter, to VND21,759/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND694/liter, the new price is VND22,519/liter and diesel oil decreased by VND90, to VND19,747/kg.
However, in this adjustment period, kerosene price increased by 29 VND, to 19,931 VND/liter and fuel oil increased by 25 VND, the new price is 17,538 VND/kg.
Regarding the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG), the joint ministries decided not to set aside and not to use the BOG Fund for petroleum products.
A representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that as of the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the BOG Fund at the enterprise was 3,077 billion VND, remaining the same in the two recent announcements.
Previously (May 23), the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 162 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by 78 VND/liter and fuel oil increased by 95 VND. However, the price of diesel oil decreased by 36 VND, kerosene decreased by 6 VND/liter.
