Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu excellently won 1 gold medal in the men's 90m single-reed bow event, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
Competing successfully at this tournament, archer Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu has prepared well before competing at the Tokyo Olympics next June.
At the 2021 National Archery Championship taking place in Vinh Yen City (Vinh Phuc), Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu and a teammate from Hai Duong finished their competitions. Phi Vu excellently won 1 gold medal in the men's 90m single-string bow, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. The remaining archer from Hai Duong is a young athlete, participating with the goal of gaining experience, so he did not achieve any results.
Both Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu and the above archer gathered in Hanoi before Tet so they were allowed to compete in this tournament. The archers from Hai Duong who were practicing at the Provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center were not accepted by the Organizing Committee because at the time of registration, Hai Duong was experiencing the Covid-19 epidemic.
The 2021 National Archery Championship was organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training from April 4-9. The tournament was attended by 200 outstanding and outstanding coaches and athletes from 18 units, provinces and cities across the country.
