According to the Thanh Mien District Farmers' Association, the 2024 Agribank Cup "Golden Rice" Volleyball Tournament attracted 8 teams with 96 athletes, the largest number ever.
The "Golden Rice" Volleyball Tournament of Agribank Cup Thanh Mien District was held from August 14-15. The tournament attracted 96 athletes from 8 teams, representing communes and towns including: Thanh Mien Town, Doan Ket, Tan Trao, Thanh Giang, Ngo Quyen, Doan Tung, Chi Lang Bac, Le Hong.
This year’s tournament had the largest number of athletes participating ever. According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament had high professional quality because the teams had a lot of time to practice and prepare.
At the end of the tournament, Ngo Quyen commune team excellently defeated Thanh Mien town with a score of 3-0 to win the championship.
The first prize winning team will represent Thanh Mien district to participate in the 13th Hai Duong Province “Golden Rice” Volleyball Tournament organized by the Hai Duong Province Farmers’ Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the end of this year.
