On the afternoon of March 14, the Judging Committee of the "Hai Duong Aspiration and Development" Press Award met to judge the final round.
The jury highly appreciated the quality of the entries. Many entries were close to the theme, had discovery, and promoted the image, potential, strengths, products, and development strategies of Hai Duong province.
After summarizing the judging results, the delegates discussed thoroughly and unanimously voted to select 27 outstanding works to award prizes. Among them were 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 6 C prizes and 15 consolation prizes; there were no special prizes.
The “Hai Duong Aspiration and Development” journalism award will be presented on the afternoon of March 27, as part of activities to celebrate the 120th birthday of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang.
Previously on February 26, the Organizing Committee selected 174 works (including 43 serial works) out of a total of 370 entries by 131 authors from 29 central and local press agencies for judging. Among the selected works, there were 25 print works, 57 visual works, 89 electronic works and 3 audio works.
The jury assessed that in addition to the advantages, there were some works of quite good quality but did not meet the criteria of the award. Some works were still sketchy.
