After decreasing by VND800,000 per tael in the previous session, at 9:00 a.m. this morning, August 7, Doji Company and Saigon Jewelry Company both announced the buying price of gold bars at VND77 million/tael and the selling price at VND79 million/tael, unchanged from the previous session.
Phu Quy Gold Company is currently trading around 77.1-79 million VND/tael, also without fluctuations.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings slightly decreased this morning. Specifically, Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings from 75.95-77.25 million VND/tael, down 250,000 VND per tael. SJC 999.9 gold rings also decreased by 150,000 VND, currently trading around 76.8-77.30 VND/tael.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of plain round gold rings is listed at 76.08-77.28 million VND/tael (buy/sell), down 200,000 VND compared to the previous closing price.
In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,383 USD/ounce, down 30 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 72.7 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on August 7 at 24,250 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND compared to August 6.
With the above changes, VietinBank buys at 24,983 VND/USD and sells at 24,323 VND/USD, an increase of 23 VND. BIDV also increased by 10 VND, the new price is from 24,980-25,320 VND/USD. Eximbank announced the new price from 24,960-25,320 VND/USD, also an increase of 20 VND.
Meanwhile, Vietcombank decreased by 10 VND, currently listing the USD exchange rate from 24,940-25,310 VND/USD.
