Gia Loc appoints many department heads and deputy heads after streamlining the district People's Committee apparatus

Gia Loc District People's Committee has organized the announcement of the Resolution of the District People's Council on the reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee and personnel work after implementing the Project on reorganization of district-level agencies.

Accordingly, Mr. Pham Van Hung, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs (former) was appointed to the position of Head of the Department of Internal Affairs; at the same time, 3 deputy heads were appointed.

Mr. Doan Ngoc Thuan, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, holds the position of Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; appoints 3 deputy heads.

Mr. Le Van Sau, Head of Health Department (former) holds the position of Head of Health Department; appoints 2 Deputy Heads of Health Department.

The remaining departments keep the same head and deputy head.

Previously, on the morning of February 19, at the 15th session of the Gia Loc District People's Council, term XX, the district People's Council delegates unanimously approved the Project to reorganize specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.

Accordingly, Gia Loc district established 2 specialized agencies on the basis of merging 4 specialized agencies under the district People's Committee. Established the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the district and the Department of Home Affairs. This Department takes over the functions and tasks of the Department of Home Affairs (before the arrangement) and the functions and tasks on labor, wages; employment; meritorious people; occupational safety and hygiene; social insurance, gender equality of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the district.

Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the functions and tasks of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the task of poverty reduction from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Establish 2 specialized agencies on the basis of transferring and receiving functions and tasks. Establish the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of advising on state management of construction, transportation, industry and trade from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure.

Establish the Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Culture and Information, receiving the functions and tasks of science and technology from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure.

The District Health Department receives the function of advising on state management in the fields of social protection, children and social evil prevention from the District Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Department.

The District Department of Education and Training receives functions and tasks on vocational education from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Thus, after implementing the project, Gia Loc District People's Committee has 10 specialized agencies, including the following departments: Home Affairs; Agriculture and Environment; Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Culture, Science and Information; Health; Education and Training; Office of the District People's Council and People's Committee; Inspection; Justice; Finance - Planning.
