On March 6, at the Party Central Headquarters, the Politburo met to review personnel work.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong presented the Decision to comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat.
The Politburo decided as follows:
1. Agree that comrade Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, President, and Standing member of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat, will cease to hold the position of Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat.
2. Assign comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission to hold the position of Standing member of the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat and Head of the Central Organization Commission.
