Comrade Pham Van Manh, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee, was transferred to work as Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, and at the same time assigned as Acting Director of the Department from June 22, 2022.

Comrade Pham Van Manh received the decision to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, acting Director of the Department from June 22, 2022.

On the morning of June 23, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to transfer and appoint Comrade Pham Van Manh, Chairman of the Thanh Ha District People's Committee to work, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, and at the same time assigned the Acting Director of the Department from June 22, 2022 until the position of Director of the Department is completed.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung congratulated Comrade Pham Van Manh on being transferred back to work at the Department of Science and Technology. Comrade Manh has many advantages because he is solid in his expertise and profession, and understands the functions and tasks of the department. The time working in Thanh Ha district will help Comrade Manh understand the needs and desires of the people and sectors in the field of science and technology.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Comrade Manh soon take over the work, assign tasks and fields to each Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, promote administrative reform so that the Department is always in the leading group of the province in administrative reform. Actively advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue scientific and technological plans that are close to reality, highly applicable, and bring practical results. Relevant departments, branches, officers and employees of the Department create conditions for the Department of Science and Technology and Comrade Manh to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Van Manh thanked the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee for their trust and assignment. Comrade Pham Van Manh (born in 1974, in Nam Sach town), has a master's degree in economic management and advanced political theory. From 2014-2016, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; from 2016 to early December 2020, he held the position of Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology. From December 2020, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Ha district.
