Comrade Dang Xuan Thuong was elected Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Council.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Gia Loc District People's Council.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended.

At the meeting, the Gia Loc District People's Council elected key positions of the District People's Council and People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Comrade Dang Xuan Thuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, was elected as Chairman of the District People's Council for the 20th term, 2021-2026 term. Comrade Le Van Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 19th term, 2016-2021 term, was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 20th term, 2021-2026 term.

In addition, the District People's Council also elected the Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; Head and Deputy Head of the Economic-Social Committee of the District People's Council, Head of the Legal Committee of the District People's Council; 14 members of the District People's Committee, term XX, 2021-2026.
