At this session, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on many urgent issues to serve the organization and streamlining of the apparatus.
On the morning of February 20, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council held the 29th Session - the first session of 2025.
Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee attended the meeting.
Comrades: Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.
Comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the National Assembly Delegation of the province and delegates of the People's Council of Hai Duong province attended the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the session, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu said that within half a day, the Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on a number of urgent issues to serve the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, such as the arrangement of the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; support policies for cadres, civil servants, and public employees who retire early and resign in the implementation of the arrangement of the apparatus; adjustment of the civil servant payroll, the number of people working in administrative agencies and public service units of the province.
In addition, the meeting will consider and decide on a number of policies to support agricultural production due to natural disasters and epidemics; policies to support housing costs for families of meritorious people, poor and near-poor households in the province and a number of other specific policies to promptly remove difficulties, continue to improve socio-economic infrastructure, promote resources to successfully implement the goals set by the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
Emphasizing that the contents considered, discussed and decided at this session are very necessary and urgent, according to the authority, comrade Le Van Hieu noted that this will be an important legal basis for the rearrangement of the apparatus in the political system, effectively serving the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee, promptly responding to the socio-economic development tasks of the province in 2025.
The contents presented at the meeting have been seriously prepared, in accordance with the prescribed order and procedures. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Council delegates and the attending delegates to actively study the documents, discuss, and contribute many practical ideas for the People's Council to consider and decide, contributing to the success of the meeting.
