Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council congratulates Vietnamese Doctors' Day

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the achievements of generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in medical units of Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts. The very positive results in the province's socio-economic development in 2024 have an important role and contribution of the health sector in the whole province, as well as the Medical Centers of Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts. In particular, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the image of white-shirt soldiers joining hands with the community, taking the lead, shouldering and sharing the work of fighting the epidemic, fighting tirelessly against the pandemic, enduring many hardships, including sacrifices. Thanks to that, it has contributed significantly to controlling and repelling the pandemic, creating a historical mark for the health sector of the country and Hai Duong province.

Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich emphasized that despite the difficulties in facilities and equipment, the lack of highly qualified medical staff, and the lack of doctors compared to the requirements, the medical centers of Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts have tried to achieve many positive results in caring for, protecting and improving people's health.

Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich affirmed the province's viewpoint of always paying strong attention to investing in the health sector, determined to develop a modern and sustainable health system to meet the increasing needs of the people.

He hoped that in the coming time, the Medical Centers of Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts would step up updating and implementing new diagnostic and treatment methods, applying advanced techniques in examination and treatment, optimizing the treatment process to shorten the hospital stay, helping to reduce costs for patients.

Ensure that 100% of commune health stations operate effectively and perform well the task of providing primary health care for the people. Expand the list of techniques deployed at commune health stations, especially medical examination and treatment services using health insurance, helping people to receive medical services right at their locality, reducing the burden on higher levels.

Improve monitoring capacity, proactively prevent epidemics, protect public health, detect early and promptly handle emerging epidemics. Build a team of medical staff with high qualifications and professional skills, at the same time practice communication skills, enhance sense of responsibility and dedicated service attitude, always consider patients as their relatives. Create a professional, united working environment, encourage creativity and innovation.

Maximize and reasonably allocate financial resources to promote investment in developing modern facilities and equipment, and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services. Promote administrative reform and digital transformation in medical management and treatment.

Concentrate resources, overcome difficulties and obstacles in operations, continue to affirm the role as the main force in the task of protecting and caring for people's health.
