Component manufacturing dominates

Currently, enterprises in industrial parks in Hai Duong focus on key industries such as manufacturing auto parts, electronic equipment, precision mechanics and industrial materials. Many enterprises have invested heavily in modern machinery lines, applied 4.0 technology and promoted automation to improve product quality, meeting international standards.

A typical example is Nissei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. in Phuc Dien Industrial Park (Cam Giang). This 100% Japanese-invested enterprise has been operating in Hai Duong for 16 years. The company has constantly innovated technology for manufacturing components and component assemblies for the production of multi-function communication devices, printers, and fax machines. Currently, the average income of employees is 10 million VND/month. Highly skilled staff and workers are regularly sent to study abroad and contribute many useful initiatives to production. Up to now, the enterprise has cooperated in manufacturing and supplying electronic components and multi-function communication devices to many countries around the world, especially the US market.

Iriso Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. in Tan Truong Industrial Park (Cam Giang) is also a typical example. The enterprise specializes in manufacturing connecting parts for automobiles, electronic equipment and precision mechanics. With the support of Hai Duong provincial authorities in updating market information and legal policies, Iriso Vietnam has successfully applied scientific and technological solutions in production. Issues related to traffic infrastructure, unstable power sources or administrative problems are quickly resolved by the provincial authorities, helping enterprises improve production and business efficiency.

The company's revenue has increased steadily over the years, with employee income rising from around VND 7 million/person/month (2021) to an average of VND 9.5 million/person/month (currently). The company's products were initially only supplied to 3 countries, but are now more widely supplied to more than a dozen countries, mainly Japan and European countries.

The representative of the investor of Phuc Dien Industrial Park infrastructure said that currently, supporting enterprises in the park account for about 40%, an increase of about 20% compared to 3 years ago. Developing supporting industries is currently a strength in Hai Duong, so recently this industrial park has also attracted many secondary enterprises (mostly foreign enterprises) to invest in factories to produce and supply raw materials, molds, materials and production components.
