On the morning of March 22, tickets for the second leg match between Vietnam and Indonesia were sold directly at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
Not many fans bought tickets to watch the Vietnam-Indonesia match on March 26 in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The buyers were mainly ticket brokers.
The few spectators who came to buy tickets said that many people were busy with school and work in the morning so they could not buy tickets. Besides, the most important reason is that Vietnamese football fans still feel disappointed after the Vietnam team lost 0-1 to Indonesia in the first leg at Bung Karno Stadium on the evening of March 21.
Supporter Vu Hai Van (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) said: "I have watched the Vietnamese team live many times. This is probably the first time I have been able to buy tickets comfortably like this, without jostling or being crowded like last year.
In the first leg, the players tried their best. As a fan, I will continue to support the whole team. I hope you guys will have confidence in victory. We still have faith in the Vietnamese team."
Another fan, Mai The Anh (Hanoi), shared: "In the first leg, the Vietnamese team played below their best. I was very sad, but as a fan, I always support the team and still hope that the team will win at My Dinh Stadium. In my opinion, we should not put too much emphasis on the results when the whole team always tries their best for the country."
According to the ticket scalpers in front of the VFF headquarters and My Dinh Stadium, the ticket prices are only 50,000 VND higher than the original price. A female scalper said the price difference is not too high because she is afraid of losing money.
"Fans don't seem to like the coach so tickets are selling slowly. If only the team had drawn with Indonesia last night, it would have been great," she said.
On March 24, VFF will continue to have more sales points at the My Dinh National Stadium square - where the second leg match between Vietnam and Indonesia will take place.
Tickets for the Vietnam-Indonesia match are available in four denominations: VND200,000, VND300,000, VND450,000 and VND600,000. These prices are similar to the first home match of the Vietnam team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Iraq.
