This evening, December 19, the leader of Hanoi City Police said that they had verified the identities of the 11 victims who died in the fire at a karaoke bar on Pham Van Dong Street (Hanoi) and handed them over to their families for burial.
Specifically, 11 people died in the fire including:
1. Dao Thi Ng., born in 1981, in district of Y Yen, Nam Dinh.
2. Pham Quang Tr., born in 2000, in Le Thanh commune, My Duc, Hanoi.
3. Pham Tien C., born in 1985, in Nam Son ward, Bac Ninh city.
4. Luu Thi L., born in 1978, in Co Nhue 1 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
5. Pham Thi Khanh H., born in 1976, in Dich Vong Hau ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
6. Le Van Ng., born in 1978, in Co Nhue 1 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
7. Chu Van T., born in 1986, in Phu Son commune, Ba Vi district, Hanoi.
8. Nguyen Thanh V., born in 1984, in Mai Giang commune, Thanh Chuong, Nghe An.
9. Vu Cong B., born in 1967, in Nghia Tan ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
10. Nguyen Thi Bich Ph., born in 1987, in Hoai Duc district, Hanoi.
11. Vu Xuan D., born in 1982, in Co Nhue 2 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
Previously, at around 11pm on December 18, a fire broke out at house number 258 Pham Van Dong Street, killing 11 people and injuring 2 others.
Immediately after the incident, the Hanoi City Police Department issued a decision to prosecute the murder case and prosecute Cao Van Hung (born in 1973, residing in Dai Mach commune, Dong Anh district) to investigate and handle the act of burning down the karaoke bar, causing many deaths on the night of December 18.
