On the evening of December 30, on National Highway 18 in Pha Lai Ward (Chi Linh), a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a tractor-trailer, injuring two Chinese men. One person later died at the hospital.
The accident occurred at 10:20 p.m. on December 30. Two Chinese men were riding a motorbike 99E1-540.61 on National Highway 18 in the direction of Pha Lai - Bac Ninh. When they reached km27+100 in Pha Lai ward (Chi Linh), they crashed into the back of a tractor trailer 34C-266.40 pulling a semi-trailer 34R-014.01 parked on the right side of the road in the same direction.
As a result, two motorcyclists were injured and taken to the Bac Ninh General Hospital for emergency treatment. By 4:00 a.m. on December 31, one of the two had died. The deceased victim was Mr. Chen Bei Rui, a temporary resident of Chau Phong Commune, Que Vo Town (Bac Ninh).
