On the morning of December 9, Ha Tinh Provincial Police announced that they had arrested two prisoners, Phan Cong Thanh and Nguyen Dac Hoang, three days after they escaped from Xuan Ha prison.
Two prisoners who escaped from Xuan Ha prison have been arrested.

According to Ha Tinh Provincial Police, as soon as they received information that two prisoners had escaped from detention at Facility No. 2 of Xuan Ha Prison (Ministry of Public Security), the provincial police coordinated with the Department of Police for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities, and Reformatory Schools (Ministry of Public Security) to arrest them.
Mobile police force and sniffer dogs hunt down two prisoners who escaped from detention
Ha Tinh Provincial Police have decided to mobilize more than 2,000 officers and soldiers, including professional units, criminal police, traffic police, investigation police, local police and commune police, to deploy professional measures to search.
In addition, the Mobile Police Department of Ha Tinh Province Police also mobilized 4 police dogs to locations where prisoners were suspected of hiding to join the search.
Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on December 6, taking advantage of a loophole, two prisoners Phan Cong Thanh (36 years old, residing in Thach Chau commune, Loc Ha district) and Nguyen Dac Hoang (39 years old, residing in Cam Nhuong commune, Cam Xuyen district) escaped from Xuan Ha prison (facility 2 located in Cam Son commune, Cam Xuyen district). When escaping, the prisoners wore black shirts and boots.
Prisoner Thanh is serving a 19-year sentence for fraud and has served 2 years and 7 months. Prisoner Hoang is serving a 20-year sentence for drug trafficking and has served 6 years and 6 months.
On December 7, Lieutenant Colonel Cao Ngoc Dien - warden of Xuan Ha prison, Department of Police Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities, and Reformatory Schools (Ministry of Public Security) - signed a decision to search for the two prisoners who escaped from the above-mentioned place of serving their sentences.
