At 2:14 a.m. on July 3, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police) received a report from the public that someone had jumped off Phu Tao Bridge (Tan Binh Ward, Hai Duong City) to commit suicide.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized 1 fire truck, 1 rescue vehicle and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene, and at the same time notified Tan Binh Ward Police and Hai Duong City Police to coordinate.
Upon arriving at the scene, the authorities discovered that the victim had jumped off the bridge. Four officers and soldiers jumped into the water and brought the victim to safety. The victim's health has stabilized.
