It is known that some teammates in the Hai Duong archery team sent messages to share and hope that Phi Vu will continue to strive to nurture his Olympic dream, first of all the 31st SEA Games taking place next year in Vietnam.

Returning to the round of 1/32 on the afternoon of July 29, each archer had 4 shots (3 arrows each shot), Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu had a good start when he tied with Chang Chih Chun in the first shot. But in the next 3 shots, this archer could not maintain the necessary concentration. Apart from some 10 points, Phi Vu played unfocused when he had 5 and 7 points. In the end, Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu lost to Tang Chih Chun with a score of 1-7 and stopped at the round of 1/32 of men's singles archery.

This is the first time Vietnam has had an archery team participating in an Olympic Games. Phi Vu, who graduated from Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, is one of two Vietnamese archers participating in the largest sports arena on the planet.
