Selling wild birds is an activity that assists subjects in illegally hunting wild animals. According to Decree 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020 of the Government stipulating administrative sanctions in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions, using Facebook and other social networking sites to advertise the sale of wild birds can be fined from 10 to 20 million VND.
