This afternoon, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of departments and units.
Chairing the conference, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu emphasized that according to the Politburo's decision, the organization of the Central Inspection Commission consists of 12 units, including 9 local departments, reducing 2 departments and 7 department-level focal points.
To ensure that the activities of the Committee and the Agency are “not interrupted, must be continuous, and must be a flow”, the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested that the members in charge, departments, and units focus on performing their work immediately. In particular, immediately review the work being done to continue to perform it promptly or hand over the work that must be handed over immediately. Do not let the work be interrupted, missed, or slowed down.
“During the implementation process, there may be problems arising. We request that comrades, departments, and units report to the Committee's leaders for consideration and timely guidance,” the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized.
According to the Politburo's decision, the Central Inspection Commission is an advisory body, assisting the Central Inspection Commission in performing its tasks and powers on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement within the Party according to the provisions of the Party Charter and performing the tasks assigned by the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat; at the same time, it is a specialized and professional agency on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement within the Party of the Central Committee.
The Central Inspection Commission has the duty to advise and assist the Central Inspection Commission in performing the following tasks: Preparing inspection and supervision programs and plans, reports, projects, inspection, supervision and party discipline cases for the Central Inspection Commission to consider and decide according to its authority; inspecting, supervising and controlling assets and income of cadres under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
The organization performs the functions, tasks and powers of the Central Inspection Commission as stipulated in the Party Charter, the Working Regulations of the 13th Central Inspection Commission and the tasks assigned by the Party Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat; organizes the implementation of the annual work programs and plans decided by the Central Inspection Commission.
Preside over and coordinate with the Central Party Office and Central Party Committees to advise, develop programs, plans and organize the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks of lower-level Party organizations and Party members in implementing the Political Platform, Party Statutes, resolutions, directives, regulations, conclusions and decisions of the Party (as prescribed in Article 30 of the Party Statutes).
Advise, direct, guide, inspect and supervise Party committees, Party organizations and lower-level inspection committees on inspection, supervision and discipline work within the Party; review conclusions, notices and decisions of Party committees, Party organizations and lower-level inspection committees on inspection, supervision and discipline work within the Party; participate in organizing training and fostering of Party Inspection officials.
Propose opinions to contribute to the general leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat on the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work; participate in giving opinions on the appraisal of cases proposed for commendation by competent agencies.
Appraise projects of Party and State agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations on contents related to the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party; coordinate with the Central Party Office (as the presiding agency), the Central Organization Committee and relevant agencies to assist the Central Party Executive Committee in monitoring and supervising the implementation of the Working Regulations of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Carry out international cooperation according to the regulations of the Central Committee. Coordinate with the Central Organizing Committee in performing personnel work according to the management hierarchy; provide guidance on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the inspection committees of provincial Party Committees, city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee.
