On the morning of April 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the exhibition "50 years of a country full of joy", propaganda posters of Hai Duong province in 2025, celebrating major holidays in April and May, especially the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) at the Provincial Exhibition House.
Attending the opening ceremony were: Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, organizations, authors, students, art lovers...
The first part of the exhibition, themed “50 years of the country full of joy”, introduces nearly 100 precious photos and documents, reflecting the brave spirit and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people in the Spring Victory of 1975 - a brilliant milestone in the history of building and defending the country. In addition, the exhibition also recreates the country's development journey in nearly 40 years of innovation, integration, promoting the strength of national solidarity to bring the country into a new era. The documents were collected and compiled from many reputable sources such as Vietnam News Agency, National Museum of History, Department of Grassroots Culture, etc.
The second part is a space to display documentary photos of Hai Duong people, where emotions and memories are reflected in each frame. From the touching images of Uncle Ho's feelings when visiting Hai Duong to the images of the people of the Eastern region working hard, producing, and fighting in the resistance war, all seem to remind today's generation of the responsibility to preserve and promote the heroic traditions of their homeland.
The third part is an exhibition of typical propaganda paintings in 2025, selected from the Propaganda Painting Competition organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association. With bright colors and clear messages, the paintings not only promote a new lifestyle, preserve cultural identity, protect the environment but also demonstrate the creativity and dedication of artists inside and outside the province for the development of their homeland Hai Duong in the new era.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 prizes to authors with outstanding propaganda posters. Author Ha Thi Huong Thanh won first prize with the work “Convergence and dissemination of traditional cultural values of the Eastern culture land”.
