Hai Duong Provincial Data Center has officially come into operation since the beginning of January 2024 to serve the government, people and businesses.
Information systems that have been installed, exploited and used at Hai Duong Provincial Data Center include: The province's official email system; People's App and the Department of Justice's micro-certificate system.
Hai Duong Provincial Data Center is considered the "heart" of the province's digital transformation under the project "Building information technology infrastructure for e-government and smart cities" (DC project) managed and operated by the Department of Information and Communications.
In the coming time, the Department of Information and Communications will continue to install additional information systems, applications, software, and databases of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Departments of Information and Communications, Justice, Home Affairs, Chi Linh City, etc.
Hai Duong Provincial Data Center has a cloud server system, blade server, data management/backup server; a powerful SAN data storage system with a total storage capacity of up to 250 TB, a tape library system that expands the maximum storage capacity to 384 TB; load balancing equipment, internet firewall equipment and core firewall. The center also has a precision air conditioning system, UPS, power distribution, and generator to ensure stable power supply. The fire prevention and fighting system at the center has been inspected by the Ministry of Public Security.
