On November 23, the police in Cho Gao district (Tien Giang) are investigating the case of two girls working as makeup artists who accused the groom's family of slandering them of stealing money and having their bodies and luggage searched.

Ms. TTMN (25 years old, residing in My Tho City) and NTNT (31 years old, residing in Tan Phuoc District) are two girls who were wearing makeup and had their suitcases searched by the groom's family, who asked them to take off their clothes for inspection because they were suspected of taking 20 million VND, causing a stir on social networks in the past few days.

According to the incident, on the morning of November 21, Mr. NNT (47 years old, living in My An B hamlet, My Tinh An commune) organized a wedding for his son. The bride hired two women, MN and NT, to do her makeup for the wedding party.

At around 10:30 a.m. the same day, Ms. TTKK (45 years old, Mr. T's wife) discovered that 20 million VND was missing and informed her husband and family.

After that, Mr. T. and his wife said, "Let's look for it later, see if it's lost, and ask family members to ignore it and not look for that money anymore."

However, Mr. T.'s younger siblings, Ms. NTKL (41 years old), TNN (39 years old) and a man named D. asked two makeup girls, N. and T., to go into a private room to search the suitcase containing makeup tools.

Not only that, they also searched MN and NT; searched the luggage of the two girls. After searching and searching, they did not find the missing money, the 3 people mentioned above did not apologize...

When the incident happened, Mr. T. and his wife, son and daughter-in-law were entertaining guests so they did not know or witness it.

Feeling that she was being slandered and her dignity was being insulted, Ms. MN posted a clip recording the process of having her luggage and belongings searched by the groom's family on social media. Afterwards, the two makeup artists also went to the commune police to report the incident.

The commune police invited NTKL to come in for questioning. Initially, she said she was washing dishes behind the house when she heard that the homeowner had lost money so she went up to see.

When she went upstairs, she saw N. and D. rummaging through the belongings of the two girls putting on makeup, so she went in to search.

Then, Ms. L. asked Ms. MN to let her body be checked. Ms. MN agreed and took off her shirt. Ms. L. searched but did not find any money so she left.

Ms. TTN stated that she asked the two girls to put on makeup and go into the room to check the suitcases and bags. Ms. N. directly searched a black suitcase. Because she could not find the missing money and the two girls cried and reacted, Ms. N. went out without searching the two girls...
