House fire in Cau Gie neighborhood (Hanoi) kills 2 people

Specifically, at 0:58 on January 18, immediately upon receiving information about a house fire at No. 173, Cau Gie Quarter, Dai Xuyen Commune, Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi City, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center urgently mobilized 5 fire trucks from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Phu Xuyen District Police, Thuong Tin District Police and the Elite Special Police Team of Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Area No. 2, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to the scene to coordinate with local authorities and people to organize fire fighting.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police also mobilized 1 command vehicle, 1 truck carrying vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to direct fire fighting and rescue work.

At the scene, authorities determined that the house on fire had 2 floors, the first floor had an incubator for chicken and duck eggs, the second floor was used for sleeping, the area of ​​the building was about 100 m2 with a reinforced concrete structure, making it difficult to put out the fire.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force promptly deployed fire fighting measures, used a machine to cut the main door lock and used a ladder to access the second floor of the house through the first floor's corrugated iron roof, broke the glass door to escape the smoke and searched for the victims. Thereby, they discovered and brought 2 injured people on the second floor out and handed them over to the medical team to take them to the hospital for emergency treatment.

At about 2 o'clock the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.

As a result, the fire killed 2 people and burned an area of ​​about 50 square meters.
