Female worker in Tu Ky fined 5 million VND for reporting to alcohol testing checkpoint

Ninh Giang District Police fined a female worker 5 million VND for posting information about a traffic police checkpoint on duty to measure alcohol concentration.

Decision on administrative penalty for Ms. NTNH

On January 11, Ninh Giang District Police announced that the unit had just issued a decision to administratively sanction Ms. NTNH (born in 1994, residing in Ha Ky commune, Tu Ky) for collecting, processing and using information of other organizations and individuals without consent or for purposes other than those prescribed by law.

Accordingly, on December 31, 2023, Ms. H. used her Facebook social network account to post an article on the group "Cleaning Up the House -> Ninh Giang Town" with the content: "The military gas station in the Town is having a checkpoint to check alcohol and drug levels. Anyone who has had a few drinks, please avoid that road."

Ninh Giang District Police quickly sent forces to verify. Thereby, it was determined that the person who posted the above information was Ms. H., currently working as a factory worker.

At the police station, Ms. H. admitted her violation, removed the post and pledged not to repeat the offense.
