Suffering from depression, father took his 5-year-old son into the bedroom and committed suicide.

On June 14, Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) completed the investigation and handed over the bodies of D.MT (born in 1989, hometown Hanoi) and the 5-year-old boy to their families for burial.

The initial cause of death of the two people discovered in an apartment on the 9th floor of the 4S Linh Dong apartment building (street number 30, Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city) was due to T being depressed, killing his son and then committing suicide.

Many people were shocked by the death of the father and son.

According to initial information, M lives with his wife, 5-year-old son and mother-in-law in an apartment on the 9th floor of the 4S Linh Dong apartment building. Recently, T has shown signs of depression. On the morning of June 13, the wife went to work, leaving only T, the 5-year-old son and T.'s mother-in-law in the apartment. T. took the 5-year-old son into the bedroom and closed the door.

A while later, T.'s mother-in-law discovered water flowing from the bedroom, so she knocked on the door and called out, but T. did not answer. Suspicious, T.'s mother-in-law asked the neighbors and security guard to break down the door to check. There, everyone discovered T. dead, hanging, and the boy unconscious on the bed.

People took the boy to the hospital for emergency treatment but he did not survive. Thu Duc City Police investigated the scene to clarify the cause. The working group discovered a suicide note left by T. with the content "Don't save me, don't call an ambulance!".
