The Vietnamese team ended the ASEAN Cup 2024 with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Thailand at Rajamangala, officially usurping the throne of this "traditional" rival.
After two matches, Vietnam won 5-3, affirming its position as the "king" of Southeast Asian football. This is the third time the Vietnamese team has won the Southeast Asian championship, after 2008 and 2018.
